NJ CONCEALED CARRY RENEWAL classes

The Concealed Carry Permit Renewal Application is on the NJ State Police website. You are allowed to file for renewal up to 4 months before your expiration date. Your new qualification is good for 2 years. (If you received your permit prior to July 2023, your renewal procedure is slightly different. This will be explained in detail when you take the class.) 

Full Metal Jacket Gun Range offers a comprehensive 2 hour renewal course that covers the subjects required by the law (i.e., legal use of force, CCare shooting qualification, etc;) plus additional information designed to keep you alive and out of jail. (i.e., defensive shooting tactics, how to handle encounters with law enforcement while carrying, etc;)

Curriculum is as follows:

1. The Permit Renewal Process

2. NJ Legal Use of Force. (Police Training Commission document)

3. Interacting with Law Enforcement while conceal carrying.

4. Pending Court Action updates.

5. Tactical Self Defense Shooting drills.

6. NJ CCARE Shooting Qualification.
